AI Potluck stores your conversations only to operate the service — to show you your own chat history and to keep the service running — and you use it as a guest, with no account or personal details required.
Please do not enter sensitive personal information; guest conversations are automatically deleted after 30 days. The chat keeps no memory across sessions — nothing from one conversation is carried into another.
You can delete all your conversations, saved settings, and usage records at any time using the "Forget everything" button in the session bar, and we tell you exactly what was removed. Any safety reports you triggered are kept, detached from the conversation, for legal and safety compliance, and that count is disclosed to you.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your conversations to train models without your consent.
If you choose to leave your details through "Get involved" — an email, and optionally your name and organisation — we store them only to follow up with you about the project, and we do not sell them. We don't keep the raw IP address of those submissions: it is hashed with a secret key and used only to limit abuse, never to identify you.
If you sign in with an email code, your address and the code are sent through Resend, our email-delivery provider, only to get the code to you — never for anything else.
Files an agent produces during a turn can be downloaded while that agent session stays active — typically a few hours, and separate from the 30-day conversation history retention above.
This is an open alpha run by Current AI, a nonprofit coalition — not a company — and a fuller privacy statement will follow at public launch.
