Four new categories, and agent tools split in two

Agent Protocols

We split agent tools and protocols into two categories. You’ll now find agent protocols (20 products) and agent tools and connectors (21) as separate entries. Agent protocols opens at stage 5 with no gaps. Only four categories on the whole map sit at that stage.

New Categories

We added ML orchestration (29 products) and document conversion (20). We also added search and retrieval (21), which opens at stage 3 with a gap on every axis we score. 41 of the 77 new products are fully open. Most of the rest are closed connectors to commercial software, which you’ll find far more of in agent tooling than in the model categories.

Fixes & Minor Updates

• Archived repositories: An automated job now checks each week for products whose repository has been archived. The first run found ten we still listed as active, and those came to us to review.
• Adoption checks: A second weekly job compares each product’s adoption tier against its current download and star counts. Anything that should move comes to us on a review list.
