The Gap Map now includes categories for the tools that make models run faster, and the systems that hold what they read.
Two categories joined the map ahead of September's additions. Compilers and Model Optimization covers the tools that make a model smaller or faster before it runs, with 44 products assessed. Storage and Retrieval covers the systems that hold and serve what a model reads, with 40 assessed, 2 of them leading. Both sit in the infrastructure layer.
