Baidu distributes no weights for the ERNIE 5.x models, which are available only through its own services and API. Training data and code are not published either.

The freshest available signal is Baidu's own app-level MAU for the ERNIE/Wenxiaoyan assistant, not a figure specific to ERNIE 5.1, and the models are not on Hugging Face, so there is no download count to read instead. Baidu's most recent quarterly release gives no ERNIE MAU at all, only a Baidu App total.
