Arduino UNO Q
ArduinoHybrid single-board computer in the Arduino UNO form factor, pairing a Qualcomm Dragonwing QRB2210 quad-core applications processor with an Adreno GPU and dual ISP running Debian Linux, alongside an STM32U585 microcontroller for real-time control. It targets AI-accelerated vision and sound applications, is programmed through the Arduino App Lab, and ships in 2GB/16GB and 4GB/32GB variants.

Board schematics and gerbers are openly licensed under CC-BY-SA 4.0 and the App Lab toolchain is open, which is the same open-design-and-open-toolchain pair that puts beagley-ai at 5. This ladder scores the openness of design files rather than of silicon - the top rung says so in its own terms - and every board in the category runs on proprietary silicon, so the QRB2210 firmware blobs are not a reason to place it lower. The toolchain half rests on published source rather than on a vendor claim: github.com/arduino/arduino-app-lab is public under GPL-3.0, 19MB of Go and TypeScript carrying the app, ui-packages and standalone-apps trees, and github.com/arduino/app-bricks-py is public under MPL-2.0. Arduino's FAQ is stale on this point: it still answers "Is UNO Q open source?" with schematics and gerbers only, and its App Lab answer still reads "we are working to publish corresponding source code repositories, they will become available soon". The public documentation is the 109-page UNO Q user manual for ABX00162-ABX00173, served from docs.arduino.cc as a plain PDF with no registration, alongside the schematics, pinout, CAD and STEP downloads. The board is on open sale: the FAQ names the channels - "UNO Q is available to order from the official Arduino Store, RS Components, Digikey, Mouser, Macfos" - and the store sells both SKUs at EUR59,90 and EUR82,90. Firmware blobs are still recorded as required, on the proprietary Dragonwing QRB2210 the board is built around, which is what every other part in this category records for the same fact; but the manual narrows what that covers, and the narrowing is worth recording - the Adreno 702 graphics stack is open, with "hardware-accelerated 3D graphics rendering through open-source Mesa drivers", freedreno for OpenGL and turnip for Vulkan, and video encode and decode reached through plain V4L2. What remains closed is the SoC boot chain, which Arduino publishes nothing of.
