CSGHub

OpenCSG
open core / Overall score: n/a

Self-hostable platform for managing large-model assets, positioned by OpenCSG as a private, on-premise counterpart to Hugging Face Hub. Users upload and version models, datasets, code, prompt and MCP repositories and application Spaces through a web UI, git, a CLI or the CSGHub SDK, backed by a Git server with Git LFS and object storage. Its API is compatible with Hugging Face clients, and it can synchronize repositories from remote hubs.

Scored as the self-hosted software, frontend and server together. OpenCSG also runs a hosted instance, which is not what this entry measures.

yes — Enterprise and SaaS editions built with ee/saas tags behind a license check

Both the frontend and the server are Apache-2.0, but the server compiles into Community, Enterprise and SaaS editions, and the community build stubs out license checking. OpenCSG's own install guide lists components available only in the Enterprise edition, so part of the product is withheld from the community code.

Adoption

not assessed

CSGHub is installed privately and reports no install or user count. The model total on OpenCSG's hosted instance counts one deployment's contents, and GitHub stars would count interest rather than use, so no reading was recorded.

Capability

5 high confidence
5.0

CSGHub reproduces the Hugging Face Hub model inside a private deployment: users publish models, datasets and app Spaces as Git repositories with LFS, keep their history, and pull them with Hugging Face's own libraries. It adds prompt, code and MCP repositories, so its registry covers at least as many kinds of artifact as Hugging Face Hub.
