Lovable is a proprietary SaaS app builder with no source distribution and no self-host path; GPT Engineer, its earlier open-source project, remains a separate legacy repository from the platform scored here. The vendor's own documentation describes a hosted platform throughout: accounts, dashboards, an enterprise tier, a managed Cloud backend, connectors, git sync and a managed npm registry.
