Northflank publishes no source for its sandbox platform. Sandboxes run on Northflank Cloud, inside a customer VPC or on premises as a commercial deployment option, and the microVM layer is built on third-party open projects, Kata Containers and gVisor, rather than on anything Northflank releases.

Its isolation and start-up speed match the leading sandbox platforms, but its evidence of scale is platform-wide rather than specific to sandboxes.
