qualcomm.com serves a client-rendered shell to a fetcher, so the figures were checked against Qualcomm's own product brief and Edge Impulse's board page. Two earlier clauses, a QCS5430 variant and Foundries.io support, appear in neither and were dropped. Verified 2026-08-14 via those two.

The public documentation is a product brief, document 87-74789-1 Rev. A, served by docs.qualcomm.com. The design files count as partial on "The hardware development kit is also compliant with the 96Boards open hardware specification to support a range of mezzanine-board expansions" - an open interface standard published with a block diagram but no board files. The toolchain counts as open on "Support for Linux, Android" plus the Intelligent Multimedia, Robotics, Neural Processing and Hexagon SDKs, and on Qualcomm AI Hub Models being a BSD-3-Clause repository at 1,183 stars. Firmware blobs are required because the whole stack sits on the proprietary QCS6490 with vendor SDKs. Sold via Thundercomm and other distributors, with first-class support in Edge Impulse, indicating an established but specialist developer base. Edge Impulse lists the kit as a supported board alongside the Dragonwing IQ-8275 and IQ-9075 EVKs, says it is "fully supported by Edge Impulse", and documents a Qualcomm IM SDK GStreamer pipeline for it. The Qualcomm developer page is unfetchable - it serves an empty client-rendered shell to a fetcher - so the distributor half of the claim is not confirmable from any source cited here.
