Corpus of around 838,000 real user-chatbot conversations collected by the Allen Institute for AI by offering free access to GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 in exchange for consent to data collection. It spans 74 languages and carries metadata including timestamps, hashed IPs, geographic region, model used and moderation scores.

A named source in the Tulu 3 SFT mixture. Verified 2026-08-13 via the allenai/WildChat-1M dataset metadata on Hugging Face.
