Scored on what remains accessible: the OSS stack. whylogs (data logging) and LangKit (LLM monitoring) are Apache-2.0, and WhyLabs open sourced its platform on shutdown. Score corrected from 4 to 5 on 2026-07-30. The earlier 4 was justified by the hosted backend no longer operating and the OSS pieces being libraries rather than a turnkey observability product, which are maturity judgments and are already recorded as adoption 2 and capability 2. On the openness question the published source is the whole product, because there is no longer anything else, and 4 pairs with open_core rather than open_source.
