Hexabot is released under the Fair Core License, converting to Apache-2.0 two years after each release but restricting competing or hosted commercial use until then, which keeps the current code source-available rather than open source; the full runtime, API, frontend, widget, agentic engine and CLI, is published in one repository. Paid plans raise user, workflow and activation limits through a license key rather than unlock a withheld feature, a capacity cap rather than a gate.
