Khadas publishes versioned board schematics and an open toolchain with mainline Armbian support, but proprietary Rockchip silicon and required firmware blobs keep it at the open-toolchain tier rather than fully open hardware. One caveat on the documentation: this record describes the public datasheet as an RK3588S2 technical reference manual, where what is actually readable is Rockchip's brief RK3588 datasheet plus Khadas's own published specification.
